How do I set up recurring deposits?

Recurring deposits help you invest consistently:

  1. Make sure your bank account is already connected and available for funding.
  2. Open your plan and choose the recurring deposit option.
  3. Enter the amount, frequency, and start date.
  4. Confirm the instruction.

If you do not have a bank linked yet, Goodstead will ask you to connect one first. You can cancel a recurring deposit later from your plan activity when the brokerage allows it.

How do I connect my bank and make a deposit?

To fund your account:

  1. Open your Investment or Retirement plan.
  2. Choose deposit or connect bank when prompted.
  3. Link your U.S. bank account through the ACH flow.
  4. Once the bank connection is ready, enter the amount and submit your deposit.

Bank linking and first deposits can take time while the brokerage verifies the instruction. You can track status from Operations and your plan activity.

How long does it take to receive a withdrawal?

Withdrawal timing depends on a few steps:

  • Any investments that need to be sold or cash that needs to settle
  • Brokerage approval and processing of the withdrawal instruction
  • ACH transfer time to your linked bank

In many cases, funds arrive within a few business days after the withdrawal is processed, but weekends, holidays, and bank cutoffs can add time. Check Operations for the latest status of your request.
